Press Release – Neenah Paper has announced a partnership with paper merchants Lindenmeyr Munroe and Lindenmeyr Central, based in Purchase, NY, which both received chain-of-custody certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

As a result of this partnership, the two companies will help promote papers certified by the FSC, such as Neenah Paper's ENVIRONMENT^® Brand. The FSC is an international nonprofit organization that supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world's forests.

"Environmental responsibility is very important to both companies," says Gerry Rector, Senior Brand Manager for Neenah Paper. "Our customers are trying to promote and protect their brands at the same time. Therefore, it makes perfect sense to join forces to promote an environmentally friendly paper brand."

Chain-of-custody certification applies to companies that produce or trade forest products, including printers and paper manufacturers. It assures that the companies' products come from well-managed forests, according to FSC's internationally recognized standards.
