Quick-set inks
Those inks that set up and dry faster, usually from top to bottom. These inks are used when sheets have to be sent back through the press faster than normal drying time will allow.

Quadratone
A black-and-white image printed with four half-tone images at different screen angles using four different colors. The colors are often made up of multiple blacks or greys to strengthen the intensity of light and dark areas.

Quarter tone
In printing, a printing dot that has a percentage that is close to the 25% printing dot size.
